A plain privacy note
This page says what happens to information when you use the Jotter website or write to us for help. We keep it short on purpose.

What this website does not do
- There is no account to create, and nothing to sign in to, on this website.
- We do not use cookies. A cookie is a small file a site can store so it can recognize you later. This site does not store one, and it does not follow you to other websites.
- We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or trade information about you.
- This website has no payment form and no booking form. Nothing you type here is sent to us unless you choose to email us yourself.
If you email us
When you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you chose to write, including pictures. We use that only to help you, to reply, and to handle billing for a session you agreed to. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Crop a picture to the problem on the screen. Leave out passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, and photos of identification.
If you message us on Facebook
Messages to our page, Jotter Support (opens in a new tab), are carried by Facebook. We use them only to help you and to reply.
Payments
You will be told the price before any work starts. This website does not collect card numbers or bank details. If you pay for a session, the payment service that we confirm with you handles those details. We see that a payment arrived, the amount, and the name on it.
The company that hosts this site
Like nearly every website, this one sits on computers run by a hosting company. Those computers keep ordinary technical logs, such as the address of the connection that asked for a page and the time of the request. An address like that identifies a connection, not your name.
Those logs help the site stay online and safe. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Asking us to delete something
If you want us to delete messages you sent and the contact details in them, email [email protected]. You do not need to give a reason. We will delete them and tell you when it is done. We may need to keep a record of a payment for tax and accounting reasons.
If anything here is unclear
Email [email protected]. A plain question gets a plain answer.
